And thus, the ongoing crusade to be rid off the disease that is plaguing the anime industry (which is us) continues.

Following various attempts to curb illegal means of anime distribution, the powers-that-be of the anime industry, comprising of associations such as the AJA and MPAA have ordered for Japan’s answer to Youtube, Nico Nico Douga to take down all videos that have even the slightest of connections to anime.

This whitewash includes, but is not limited to AMVs, MADs,  actual anime episodes and the likes. This is seen by many as a big blow to Nico Douga considering most of their content revolves on material that is related to anime.

While personally I don’t find this to be much of a problem, a lot of people will be saddened by the fact that anime content is no longer available in Nicodouga. But on the bright side, other videos such as Touhou and idolm@ster ones (the ones that, you know..actually matters) seem to be intact.

Following last year’s relatively successful outing, I’ve decided that we do this outing again this year, but at a better place, and with better ambiance.

Time/Date : 31st May/1st June or 7/8 June.

Places : We’re still in a deadlock over this, as there have been a few places that were suggested.

1. Tony Roma’s @ Pyramid or Midvalley.
2. TGI Fridays (which one we can confirm later).
3. Brazillian BBQ @ Atria Shopping Center.
4. Pasta Zanmai @ One Utama (not exactly a place you’d go to for steak, but it’s still a nice place to eat).

There we have it folks, we’re gonna have our outing at Tony Roma’s @ Midvalley Megamall, partly due to the fact that

1. It’s accessible by train/bus/taxi and;
2. Got Taiko 10 there.

Movie option is still on, but we’ll see how everyone’s schedules is like first before we delve into that. Meetup time will be discussed soon and I’ll update the post about it.

For some reason after seeing this image I have this uncontrollable urge to play Persona 3 (well more like hug her and love her tenderly but that’s not gonna happen, is it?). I suppose I could wait until after my exams are done (E-Commerce paper on Friday) and I’m back in Shah Alam for the holidays. At times like this I wonder if I’m really that lonely.

FYP preliminaries is around the corner, Wednesday evening, to be precise, and we’re just about done with the powerpoint slides. Going to see Miss Tay tomorrow to see what else we could improve on, but we’re pretty much confident with what we have so far (I think). Need to finalize some contents later, and start on the storyboard details for the judging panel. Wish us luck, because we’ll probably need it. Like, a lot @__@.

p/s: Expect a surprise sometime this weekend. It has something to do with libraries. And..something else..
